A giant fraction of Google searches are local. Advertise your business locally and you’ll get traffic and customers for a fraction of the cost of other media. This may sometimes reach more people than Yellow Pages ads; it’s more traceable than billboards, and it costs you less than mailings and fliers.

According to the Kelsey group, 60 percent of all internet searches are local. Some estimates run as high as 75 percent. But even if it were only 20 percent, that’s still a lot of searches. Tens of millions a day, at least.

No matter the percentage, local search is without a doubt the unexploited possibility in pay-per-click management.

So you are looking to sell dieting plans, downloadable MP3s, HDTVs, or home refinancing on Google in the national market? It can be done, but you better get ready for a battle.

Yet if you are a chiropractor, automotive shop, carpet layer or landscaper, you are prime to be victorious. Your competition is more than likely uneducated in internet marketing strategy.

2. Startup an Opt-in Mailing List For Yourself.

Bulk email is out…Opt-In is in. The most effective sales tool ever created on the internet is email. The problem has been that many individuals have been using it to Spam everyone online with their sales messages! This causes instant countermeasures by those Spammed, and the Spammers quickly find themselves without email addresses or websites to conduct business online.

Opt in email is the online tool for times to come. The simplest method is to set up your own e-zine. If you desire to remain competitive you will have an e-zine if you don’t have one already. It is the only way to stay even with your competitors in your market. An easy method of setting one ups is to go to http://www.listbot.com and set one up for free!

Your ezine can be published every day, week or month. Whatever will work into your business best. Don’t think you can write your own articles? There are plenty out there for you to use for free. Just look around. Running your ezine is not hard and it can increase your profits. There really isn’t a good reason not to build one.

3. Utilize the 7 Profit Streams of Each Opt In List.

Email Opt in lists have seven profit streams. Because space is limited I will discuss only two that have the capability to produce residual monthly income (guaranteed) for you and it doesn’t make a difference what business you are into.

The first Monthly profit stream from your ezine is your own products or services…Every month you can offer a special offer on a NEW product or service OR offer a special bonus to go along with the product.

Whereas bulk email has horrible response rates, Opt-In email with your subscribers has been known to produce response rates of 1% to 10%! Think about it.

If you have a $97 product which you offering to a list of only 2,000 people, and pull in a response rate of 1%, you would have a gross income of $1940! If you received a 2% response rate, you would have made $3880! PLUS, You can do this every MONTH or even every week!

Consider if you had a list containing 50,000 opt-in members. I have heard of internet lists that have a whopping 600 thousand members on it and maybe even more. A small list with 2 thousand members can be gathered in a very short time tow or three months and it doesn’t require a large advertising budget.

Your secondary profit stream will be for ezine classified ads. As the size of your list increases you can put out opportunities for others to buy classified type advertising space. With an ad going for twenty dollars a week and if you get 10 advertisers a week that makes you $800 in profit for monthly classified ads. That is not a great amount of money but that is increase that is residual every month.

Imagine the possibilities when you get the other five profit streams working on your opt in list!
